Take a ride on the speedway with the electric car crafted by my own hands.

'Make KArt' is an experiential learning class that seamlessly combines the allure of creative exploration and electric car crafting. Here, 'Make' signifies the act of creation, while 'kart' represents the essence of an automobile. Additionally, 'Art' symbolizes creativity, emphasizing the fusion of inventive and artistic elements. 'Make KArt' offers children a creative journey where they can hands-on build and design their electric cars, simultaneously indulging in the excitement and passion of car racing."

Program Planning

  1. Speedway Tour

ree

Children participated in a guided tour of the Speedway, led by a professional race car driver. They visited the control tower, main track, and pit area, learning how a race is organized and operated. The driver also opened the hood of a real race car, allowing students to observe its internal structure up close.

2. Circuit Safari Experience.

ree

In the Circuit Safari Experience, the children rode a safari bus around the Speedway track. Along the way, they learned about race rules, signals, and event operations. They also watched a real race car drift up close —experiencing the sound, tire smoke, and sharp turns right in front of them. It felt like being inside the race, rather than just watching it.

3. Go-Kart Building in the Pit

ree

In the pit area where real race cars are serviced, children worked in teams to build their own electric go-karts. They wore safety gear and learned how to handle basic tools before assembly. After building, each team designed and decorated their kart to make it unique.

4. Gymkhana Racing

ree

For the next activity, children participated in Gymkhana Racing, a motorsport where drivers navigate a marked course and compete for time. Wearing racing suits and safety gear, the children felt like real drivers as they drove the electric go-karts they built themselves on a specially designed track.

5. Race Car Riding Experience

ree

The final highlight was the Real Race Car Ride. A professional race car driver took the children onto the track and drove at true racing speed. The children could feel the acceleration, engine sound, and wind, just like in an actual race. For many, it was their first time experiencing such speed.

Workshop

I participated in every workshop during the program launch, identifying areas for improvement, making revisions, and refining the program.

Educational Material Development

I developed comprehensive educational materials for Make KArt, including student learning kits, teacher guides, lesson plans, and project overviews.
